Extend your driving skills with the Pass Plus scheme

| In time you will gain driving experience. To begin with however, dark country roads, motorways or inclement weather may prove daunting - particularly if you are in the car by yourself, no parents, friends or dual controls! | ||
Step forward Pass Plus, a scheme specially created to introduce driving situations and techniques you might not have found in your driving lessons. Six practical modules cover driving in town, driving in adverse weather (theory - practice when available!) driving on rural roads, driving at night on dual carriageways and joining and driving on motorways. There is no test, your driving will be continualy assessed and after successfully completing the six hourly modules you will recieve a DSA (Driving Standards Agency) certificate. As an indication of the value of the course, when you come to insure your own car many insurers offer discounts to those with a Pass Plus certificate, and West Lothian council offer grants towards the course. Find out more on the West Lothian Council website. |
